Never have I understood this phrase as well until I moved to Michigan.
I am trying to remain positive about being here and honestly it has been fun.
But, as some of you know, the past few months here have been a bit challenging for me.
After going to California for Christmas, I can honestly say a big part it is because of the family and friends we have out in California.
All of the highlights from our trip revolve around catching up friends and family and we only wished we had more time to do so.
Now because of our poor picture taking skills, here are a few memories to help me remember the trip by.
- Getting picked up from th airport on Christmas Eve and seeing the sun for the 1st time in months.
- Going to the movies with the fam.
- Seeing old friends at Elissa and trevor's wedding
- Sitting around the couch all playing Bejewled Blitz on our Phones.
- Chick-fila with Eric
- Double dates with Karly and Dave
- Beach with Kathryn
- Spending time with my long lost hubby
- Having to go to all of Mike's restaurants that he missed
- Family pictures
- Nails with my mom
- Having both sets of parents in town.
- Dinner with the Hesters
